The Alicante Bullring is one of the oldest active bullrings in the Valencian Community.
Built in 1847 by the Alicante architect Emilio Jover, in 1884 it had to be renovated due to its deterioration. The grandeur of the square and its large capacity give an idea of the importance of bullfighting in Alicante
